That's exactly why I played the Pilotwings music for the flying in this clip.

Playing the Pilotwings music was an odd sensation for this game. It felt like I was a kid in the N64 room again, but in some parallel dimension where N64 was Oculus Touch. The high detail cockpit with the medium poly landscape perfectly works a Pilotwings void filling machine.

Here is a link to me flying later in the game with a gun in one hand and the planes stick in the other if you're into seeing that kind of thing.
